Default T3i vs 60d vs D5100

I can get a new dslr camera as a reward. My choice is between:

Canon 60D
Canon T3i
Nikon D5100

I already have a Canon XSi with a couple lens.

I am thinking I should stay with the canon line since i have a few lens already. I wasnt sure if I could use them with the 60d or what other big differences between the two.

I also just remembered I have an external flash metz 48. I wasnt sure if that was for canon only either.

Thanks,
Frank

Tough call as the cameras are all old models. The T3I is old by 2 models (there is a t5i). The d5100 is one generation old and the 70d replacement for 60d has just been announced. So, I'm not sure what reward program you are referring to - but I will ask, are you set on it being a DSLR? And if so, are you OK with it being an older model?

An older model is fine with me. I have a ton of frequent flyer miles that are expiring if I dont use them. So this would be free. The way i look at it is it would be free and an upgrade from my current xsi camera.

Then the 60d. There's no compelling reason to jump systems here -especially with a flash and multiple lenses and, most importantly, you're happy. The 60d is a better camera than the T3i in every way so no worries there.

How does the body compare in your hands? Is the 60d much larger? My only worry in my wife using it which she take most of the pics.

Also i can get the kit with the 18-55 or 18-135 for either camera. I assume i should go with the 18-135 and use the 18-55 i currently have. Or has that lens been upgraded too?

Yep- the 60D's the logical way to go here- and if you already have an 18-55 lens (is it stabilized..?) the 18-135 makes sense...
