G'day RG

The 4200 as with seemingly most other fuji superzooms is a 'reasonably good all-round' camera

I have used fuji superzooms since the S5000, bought 10 yrs ago and currently use the X-s1 [see review here http://www.steves-digicams.com/knowl...-100-days.html ]

The 4200 seems to be in the same mould ... good zoom, good features, etc etc -but- it is classed as an entry-level, beginners camera

If you are looking for an inexpensive, FAQ camera, the 4200 seems to be an okay choice.

The -but- as with all things is what are you trying to do with it?
Can you give us some idea of the images you wish to take and what size prints to you expect to make using this camera

Hope this helps a bit
Has Lumix mirrorless & superzoom cameras and loves their amazing capabilities
Spends 8-9 months each year travelling Australia
