Default Canon ELPH 330 (IXUS 255) vs Canon sx280

Hi,

I am just wondering which has the best image quality in daylight and low light the canon sx 280 or ixus 255 (ELPH 330).

Also I notice the canon ixus 255 has a 10 minutes limit in continuous recording at full HD with 4GB. Can it go longer with a 8GB card. Or is 10 mins the max it will record for.
Cheers
Steve.

I wouldn't imagine there would be much difference in the two's IQ (if any...), given that they share the same sensor and processor.
As for the video length... couldn't say...!

the sx280 has manual controls, and being able to adjust things like shutter speed and aperture can be an advantage in low light shooting.

Hi,

Thanks for the input. I am concerned about the battery issue for the sx280. Is it fixed now. Does it only affect the video or taking photos as well?
Cheers
