Default What camera should I get for video

Hi, new here and looking for some advice. Right now I have the nikon d5100 with the kit lense and ive been shooting videos with it. When I record on it with the kit lens the autofocus is to loud so I turn autofocus off but It would help me a lot to have autofocus on. So my question is which camera should I get that is good for recording video but I also would like to take some still pictures as well. Or should I invest in new lense and which one whould you recommend that is has fast autofocus and its not as loud. I dont want to spend more then 300$ on the lense and no more then 800$ if you recommend me to get a new camera all together.

Thank you.

The problem you're having isn't with the camera; it's with the lens. I'd suggest you try the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. It's got a long reach and is especially quiet.

It's available for rent at LensRentals.com.

What you need is an external microphone, which won't pick up the lens noise.

Will this work with my D5100?
