Default Another what new camera to get question

I've had numerous cameras through my life.
Haven't purchased one in quite sometime. Have done some research online, soooooooo...........
This new camera will double as one for my wife to have to take picture and some video of kids and grandkids. Secondly, I want to be able to use it on vacations for stills and video. Oh, we want a small compact for the obvious reasons.
My research has led me to the Canon Powershot HS 330 Elph. this hits the price point we are looking for as well.

Any thoughts?????

As a fairly straight forward "point and shoot" with decent still quality and video- its a good option.
Full HD video- with zoom capability "during" filming.
Has the better 12mp CMOS sensor on board- as opposed to the lower end 16mp CCD based models- improving low light performance and operational speed. (And has the later Digic 5 processor...)
A pretty sharp 24-240mm lens also- which believe me,is not a given on many compact zooms...!!

A review- with some test shots/samples...

if you're not looking for any manual control (P, A, S, M), and you're looking for a small camera with decent reach, i agree with SIMON40 that this camera could be a good option.
