I want something with more brighter colors and a little more zoom for the fun of just playing around.

You can select and even customize the Picture Style in the 70D for brighter colors (See pages 126 & 129 of the 70D manual.), similar to the settings in your T2i (See pages 75 & 91 of the T2i manual.) You may also prefer to make adjustments to saturation and color tone in post processing, using a good image editing application.

A longer zoom range generally means more optical aberrations, but if you are willing to accept those in order to get the added convenience, you might be happy with the 18-135 and 18-200 you mentioned in your original post. But you can get better image quality by using multiple lenses of less ambitious zoom ranges.
