Default What can replace my Nikon Coolpix 8800?

I want to replace my Coolpix 8800 with something (not necessarily new) that has all the virtues & quality of the 8800 but is no more than about half the weight.

Can anybody recommend one?

G'day Herb

Maybe try the DPR site and use their "Camera feature search" feature
There are a few small P&S jobs that still have an EVF rather than the rear-only LCD screen

Thanks OT!

The day after I posted my question I spotted a Canon G12 that was for sale locally. It's specifications seemed to cover what I wanted, so I bought it.

It took a while to figure out how to set it to take 3 AEB shots each spaced 2 EV from the centre shot but I'm now very satisfied with the results.
