I read the reviews of both of them and both have great reviews. Whats the difference between fine and superfine, kit has something to do with image compression. I am looking for a good point and shoot camera with atleast 4.0 mp which also gives me ability to use manual controls to play around for different kinds of shots in night, day, landscape.

Does anyone has any of these cameras.

I have a Canon A80, and it's great. Reasonable, and not too small where I'm gonna drop it, yet not too big to throw off my spine. It's got all kinds of settings to fool around with, and also has an optional accessory which I find particularly intriguing, a waterhousing!:|
