The Highest Quality here is A2 That's for sure

After that Nikon

If it's between Z2 or even Z1 VS Fugi S5500, S5000

Minlota is MUCH Better

Hello! I have a Fuji S5000 and the quality of the digicam is great! The interpolated 6mp is like a real 6mp CCD and also when I'm using it,other peoplethought is a DSLR!

This may help you decide.

I think the interpolated 6mp of the Fuji S5000 is awful - here is an example of it at "6mp" (800kb download):

http://www.kylesterry.plus.com/stan/fuji2004_0516.JPG

However, at 3mp, it is pretty good with some noises and quite cheap for a very featured camera. If you go to http://www.kylesterry.plus.com/stan - pictures were taken with either the Kyocera Finecam M410R (10x optical zoom, 4mp) and the Fuji S5000 (10x optical, 3mp).

The Minolta Z2 is smaller than it looks and probably one of the smallest of the superzooms out there - I nearly brought it but I heard bad user reviews about the mechanisms that flips between viewfinder and the screen getting stuck quite easily and needing repairs.

Good luck in choosing a camera!

Maybe you should wait for a few daysand check out upcoming Z3 reviews instead. In my country price difference between Z2 and Z3 is so small, I would probably buy Z3 with some neat features and improved things over Z2.Also new Kodad 5-mp looks interesting, but lacks once again in videomode. Also note there could be some other new models released quite soon.
