I'm looking for a very compact cam. I imagine that I will take it whenever I leave home, if that will be the fact in the reality is another story ...

I want to spend around 200 dollar because I also want to buy an additional akku and a SD card with 256 MB.

The models I think would do the job are

- Kodac Minolta Dimage Xg
- Kodac Minolta Dimage G400
- Pentax Optio S40

The Xg fits best with the small size requirements but I was told the G400 still fits perfectly in a pants pocket.
Of course the Xg's design is also a plus, but I'm not quite sure about this model because it has "only" 3 GP in comparison to the other two models.

I'm also open for any alternatives. The three above are just what is was able to come up with.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I went to a store today and held the Xt (sizewise its the same as the Xg I think) and the Pentax Optio S50 (I want a S40 but they didnt have it there).

Well, the S50 is really small enough to fit in a pants pocket I think. The Xt is just a bit smaller which will result in more cary comfort in the trousers I think. Also it's not as heavy as the S50.
