Ok, now I'm kicking myself. My wife found this site after we got home with the camera. I'm tempted to see if they'll match the difference. If they don't, I'm wondering whether I should return it, and try again at another Sears. :-)

Looks like the "unbeatable" price has indeed been beaten: http://usaphotonation.com/products.asp?product_id=10116

So like, a lot of people, i headed to sears because i needed it ASAP.

Hello, I am BJ , after reading some of the posts, I registered because I wanted to reply to the Sears matching on line prices. I called one of our sears and they would not match, but the second store would. The clerk couldn't ok it, but the boss said he would check out the site with the $489 price to see if it is a legitimate store. So I will be waiting for the result. If they don't match USA photonation.com's price I will look for a more reasonable price for them to match. I was ready to buy the C Rebel, but still not 100% sure. I can afford the one I want, but still don't want to throw my money away. I look forward to reading and learning about whatever I buy....thanks

Hi BJ,
Any luck with the matching price on the Digital Rebel from Sears. I'm wanting to get the Rebela and it would be great if the local Sears would match.

I've found this place that sells the 300D for $400 (ofcourse $170 shipping) - either way it looks quite shady. However, do you think it'd pass for Sear's inspection or should I choose a better, less shading looking place?

Thanks
