I recently purchased a Kodak DX6490 from Amazon and haven't been very impressed by it's focus ability andspeed of taking pictures (5+ seconds). I want to send this back and replace it with somethingbetter.

I'm after a camera that has good/quick focus, can be used at nightime (such as at a party) as well as daytime, has a decent zoom (8-10x), 3-5 Meg & preferably takes SD or CF Cards. I would like to spend around £200 - £250 GBP

So far, I have narrowed my selection down to the following:

Konica/Minolta Z1 or Z2
Olympus c-765
Panasonic ?

Can anyone help me make my mind up?

Pansonic FZ-3/20. If you don't need manual focus look at the three. Look at www.dcresouce.com for comparisons. Since you are looking at the C765 I assume lack of a hot shoe is not an issue. Also, look at www.dpreview.com which compared the KM Z-2 and FZ-3 directly (FZ-3 review).
