I am considering to get a really small digital camera with at least 2 mpixels and 3x zoom.

The Dimage xg looks really good. Is there any other camera you would recommend to check out?

Thanks for any advice!

Here' a sampling of the cameras I'm looking at

Canon s410- excellent pics, little bit bigger than the rest

Canon sd2003MP, unknown pic quality, excellent video with expensive SD cards

Canon s110 3 MP excellent picsonly 2x optical zoom

Casio z40 very good pics, no video out

Fuji f440 very small expensive xD card, good pics

Minolta g400- just didn't like the slide covering the lens

Sony L1 expensive, memory stick, no video out, great lens and video

no Pentax Optio b/c of quality issues

personally leaning towards sd200 and s410. Trying to stay below 350 withmemory

I wouldn't dicount the Minolta G400 because of the slide cover. It's one of the fastest cameras out there & with 4mp takes great images. I used one for a beach trip & often was using it one-handed while holding a fishing rod in the other. It took great indoor images (without flash) too.

Get the Minolta Dimage X camera. or at least try it. Such a very compact camera, with excellent optical zoom. Excellent images that print well. I've been amazed at the quality of the images for such a compact camera.
