I need a Digital camera, but so confused on which one would be best for our situation. Here is what I would do with the camera.

Have our first Grandchild coming, so we want to take alot of pics

will take a good many indoor shots, plus some possible moving shots

will probably make some 8 x 10 photos

TV capable, printer friendly, can maybe zoom in pretty good

4 megapixels or higher

price range - 200 to 330

also video w/audio

200-330 what...Yen? Does that include the cost of the large media card that you are going to store those video w/audio files?

Canon A85- not too big not too small, great pics , lo price-Amazon ($250), take AA batteries, cheap Compact flash cards, nice scene modes.

There's l ot of other good choices.

Did you read Steves review of it?

"Bottom line - the FinePix S3100 will make a good choice for those who want a very affordable "Big Zoom" camera. It's great for users who are just getting into digital photography and plan on shooting mostly outdoor photos; we can't recommend it for indoor shooting due to its inability to focus in low ambient light."

I would go with a mid-end point&shoot general (low-zoom) camera... stay away from the ultra-zooms (generally have problems in low-light or at telephoto (max zoom))... stay away fro mthe ultra-compacts too (they usually have a price premium and are geared towards smaller size)...
