Hi.

Until today I was quit happy saving up for the A2! I have just read a review on the Nikon 8800. I would like a telephoto lens at least 7x optical, anti shake system and a camera that takes good shots of fast moving images in most lighting conditions ( includeing low light)

I really am new to all this and every time I think I have made my mind up I see another camera to look at.

Which would be the best camera to buy out of these two.

Your opinions would be of great value to me.

Thanks

Rob

Since that's what you want, you should get the A2.

I'm with Kalypso on this
... It all depends on how fast you shoot, especially with RAW, but early indication on the 8800 is not that far off from the 8700!
(Also the speediness of a manual zoom ring vs the buzz-buzz buttons)

In term of $$$ the A2 clearly wins hand down :blah:

OOops forgot to mention the high-resolution EVF as well :G
