Greetings. I'm starting a web-based business dealing in custom guitars and I'll need to take lots of catalog-quality shots, both for web and for print production. Many of the parts I'll be shooting are small (the hardware bits), so there's a need for the ability to do close-ups without the depth-of-field problems or other distortions of macro-shooting. I'll also need to take photos of whole guitars with high color accuracy. Minimizing optical distortion (barrel and chromatic) is a priority, but I really can't afford the expense of an SLR with changeable lenses. Movie capability and speed of operation are not important, but excellent auto-focus is. Alternately, if a "live" feed from the camera can be sent to a computer monitor for manual focusing, that would be great. I'm currently looking at the Oly C-8080, favoring it slightly over the Canon G6, and the Nikon 8800. Any thoughts?
