Casio looks sexier with 2.5 inch LCD and 5 megapixel lens but I am not sure about the picture quality. What do you think? Which one provides better image quality?

Canon > Casio

the lens quality, color reconition and speed of the canon is better.

I agree.

But you gotta admit, the Casios are cheaper, and easier to use.

That is a huge generaliation, one which is very stretched when referring to Canon's Sxxx series.

And in the case of the SD 300 its just not true at all. The 300 and 200 take pictres that to my eye are incredible mediocre if not bad. Canon is just abusing its reputation putting its label on that.

I dont think there's much to pick from between these. I dont love the image of the pentax Optio Series, but I am looking at the same choice myself right now and honestly the Optio S5i might just be the best image quality of all these - which is sad to say.
