Just like it says. Want to get either one. Which do you think? Not interested in SD300, as image qualityis most important.

Here's my take.

s410- better pictures, cheaper, compact flash

p100 cheaper by $20 at amazon, ends today. smaller, better video, noise cancellation feature, faster performance.

I own a Stylus 400 and C770Uz.

Can't compare between them both as the C770UZ is a much better camera. But as far as I can say, the Stylus 400 can take good pics but at the expense of manual controls. And the best thing about the Stylus series in general (from what I've seen and tried), it's easy to use with minimum fuss, and the body is really tough. Mine is covered in scratches all over and still running well. And I still use it for times where the C770UZ is too big to lug around (not that it's a very big camera). I'd expect the 410 to have similar and better performance to the 400.

However, for speed performance, I'd go for the Sony P100. It has one of the fastest startup time I've ever seen. And the photo quality is also good.

The LCD is a bit small though for both cameras.
