I am looking for a digicam with built-in Anti-Shake / Vibration Reduction for both low-light pics and extreme telephoto pics. My pics will be a mixture of wide-angle indoor group people pics (some in low-light conditions), outdoor wide-angle landscaping pics and outdoor telephoto pics. Therefore, I am undecided between the CP8800 with WM-E80 wide-angle conversion lens (giving me 28-600mm) and the Minolta A200 with ACT-100 telephoto conversion lens (giving me 28-300mm). What are the pros and cons of each digicam?

Reading online reviews, I noticed that both digicams have barrel distortion at the wide-angle end. Which would you pick?

Anyone tried the combos above (Nikon and Minolta)?

Sorry, I meant that the Nikon combo would give me 28-350mm (not 600mm - would require the TC-E17ED telephoto conversion lens).
