Hi all, I sure hope someone can give me the good and bad things releated to the 3 cameras. I changed several times as I started with DSLR and decided they are not for me. I just want a good all around camera. I'll use it for family gathnering, grand kids, vacations, in side, outside. Sometimes low light with no flashwith tri p.

The things that are important to me are in order:

1. Picture quality

2. Be able to have some manual controls

3. Although I may not need a high of MP cameras as listed I will do some croping and 8 x 10 prints which arn't all that big. Maybe a little bigger prints sometimes.

4. Its nice if it would be somewhat good in low light.

5. Wide angle and some telephoto.

6. I.S. would be OK also but I guess its not that all important from what I here.

The 3 cameras I narrowed it down to are:

1 Minolta A-200

2. Canon Pro 1

3. Nikon 8800

I've read good and bad about all 3, but I guess which liked the best among the experts.

Any other info you need?

Thanks Tas

I consider IS to be very important.

Have you considered the Panasonic FZ series?
