Hello,

First time poster, so be nice :-)

I have been reading reviews both here and elsewhere of both the Pentax S50 and S5i. Both cameras seem good though the the S5i edges it.

Which should i buy though? The S50 is available at amazon for£169.99 and the S5i for £233.99

Is the S5i really worth the extra 60 pounds, or should I just stick with the S50?

(I'm leaning towards paying the extra atm)

Thanks for any Help,

Steve

It's also worth calling your local Jessops to see if they have them in stock so you can have a look first hand.

Jessops still have the internet price matching policy (so I was told by them on Thursday).

They match internet prices? How do you quote the prices for them then?

Sounds good, as I would prefer to buy on the high street really. I have seen the S50, but the S5i isn't anywhere I have looked.

Think you need to take a print-out of the web page?

Believe it also has to be a UK website and in stock at the time.

If you try:

Pricerunner, Dealtime, Kelkoo or Ciao

you'll find plenty of links.
