Looking for a small, good quality dig.cam. Require only1 or 2 mega pix. Smaller is better. Most important is fast frame rate. For shooting still shots only, indoors and out. Thanks

are you really sure that 1 or 2 mp will be enough? 1mp really is next to useless these days (IMO). for shot to shot rate and size, i would reccomend the Sony W1, but it sounds like that's more than you'll ever need. Maybe one of the older Canon Elph series?

Best of luck with your search!~Jack

Olympus E-100RS

15 frames per second. Amazing camera if you don't need high rez.

Check the reviews...

For a small pocket camera you are going to find that newer is usually faster. You aren't likely to find a 1 or 2 Mp camera that fits in your pocket and is really fast. All new models aren't fast, but the fast models are usually more recent.

I would refer to the Ultra Compact – Pocketable listings in Steve's best cameras. Each listing is a link to the full report. The conclusions page gives shot to shot times. http://www.steves-digicams.com/best_cameras.html

Camera is for work, all pics must be email size- less than 100k. So no need for mega pix. I do property appraisals, and it helps to have the camera keep up with my walking speed. I've got boat anchors to wear around the neck; pocket size would be oh-so great. Thanks for the comments!
