I have no need to use this camera for anything but shooting the bathroom accessories I sell. Shower rods, faucets, glass shelves. Most of the reviews go into a lot of features innaplicable to this like zoom, outdoor, macro, etc. with only a single line about the feature I am looking for.

I figure I would like either a 4 or 5 megapixel camera. Any suggestions for or against certain cameras? I am partial to Nikon from previous experience shooting jewelry but this is different. I do my own image editing for print advertising.

Thanks,

Steve

Since posting this I have been conducting research and find these two models offer good cost/benefit ratio's.

Konica Minolta DiMage G600 $246

Fuji Finepix E550 $280

Each offers 6 megapixels. Any comments on the relative strengths and weaknesses of these cameras for product photography?
