I am looking for a digital camera between 4 and 5 mp that is light and small but that takes good pictures. I would also like a decent sized LCD screen. What cameras both fit my description and perform well?

Thanks!

Depends on the price range and stuff like that... Most of the current ultra-compacts are around 5 megapixels and have big LCDs. The ones I like are Sony W1, Canon SD300, and Panasonic FX7.

If you want slightly larger cameras, then you can look at stuff like Canon A95, Sony P150, Canon S70, etc.

And of course, the mid-end prosumers like Canon G6, Sony V3, Panasonic FZ20, etc are better than any of them--and cost more too.

I don't know... what size are yo ulooking for?

Have a look atthe Sony L1 which is a tiny, 4Mp zoom digital. The reviews are here.

I have narrowed it down to these four cameras which are within my budget after perusing the Internet for the lowest prices.

- Casio Exilium EXZ50
I held this camera in a store and I really liked its feel.
- Pentax s5i
This camera's tiny size is very appealing however its LCD screen is not as large as the Casio's.
- Minolta Dimage X50
Steve also gives a good review to this camera.
- Cannon sd20
Nice, tiny size and large LCD screen.

Out of these fours, which one would you suggest? IT seems Steve gives all four of these good reviews as tiny cameras with the ability to take good pictures. This makes it hard to make a concrete decision.

Do any of you have preferences on these four?
