I saw the Fuji here
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...gid=EN&dept=14
looks like a pretty good deal, can get the Cannon Powershot A85 for 329 at best. I woul like the camera that not necessarily has the most megapixels, but has the highest quality image and will allow me the most creativity in taking pictures. I would prefer the Fuji because it uses xD cards which I already own two of. I would like manual controls, priority modes would be minimum, full manual I would like as well. I've had good experiences with Fuji, does it look good?

The Fuji s3000 does not have full maual controls. I think you would be better of getting a Fuji S5100 because it has all the manual controlls you will ever need and it costs only $260!!!

you can get them here

hm... well my limit (with tax) is 380 dollars canadian, I'm not sure if I can find that somewhere locally to match the price (my parents hate ordering off the net, so do I, I don't really trust it) though I bet I could get NCIX to price match them, I do trust them since I'm like 30min away from them and could possibly pick stuff up.
Any other suggestions for cameras to suit my needs?
Reminder: the cam i linked to is a S3000SE, if the SE means anything. I couldn't find a review anywhere on the net.

What about this cam?
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...%20-%20CAMERAS
says in a review it has full manual, and Apeture priority and shutter priority.

The S5100 is a much better camera, better pics, and more features, plus it has sound in the video mode, something the S3000 doesn't!

I think that one has manual controls on it, looks pretty good, though I wanted a bigger camera as its experience that bigger = better.
