I am looking seriously into each of these cameras, but learnt tonight that both the FX7 and Z55 both have quite poor resolutions compared to the T3.

Anyone know of any more cameras with huge, good resolution screens?

Have you looked at Canon's Powershot SD300 (aka. IXUS 40)? It compete's with your other mentioned cameras (compact) and has a decent 2.0" screen, but i'm not sure how the resolution is compared with the others.

HEre are the specs:

scroll to the bottom to see LCD size and pixels...

Sony generally has the best LCD and I don't think you'll find too many that are as good as the T1...

ah yup, it seems that no other manufacturer can beat the resolution of Sony's screen on the T1/11/3/33.

Another question - when I clicked on that comparison link - it seems that the Lumix can only do AUTO ISO's... is this right?

What do you want to do with the camera? That's always an important question to ask. The Sonys have a good screen and good lenses, but they don't let in much light (f3.5). That's something to consider if you like making low light images or super fast images.

There is a Contax U4R camera with a decent 2 inch LCD, similar lenses, and f2.8.
