:?I have Multiple Sclerosis and am getting quite shaky when it comes to holding a camera still. I am considering on purchasing a new 8mpdigicam with the Anti-Shake device. Question is, which one is the best?

My feeling is that anti-shake or image stabilizing devices are accpetable for minor camera shake that becomes more noticible with long telephoto shots. If your tremor is more pronounced, the IS devices might not be able to adequately compensate.

In those situations, the best solution would be a tripod and a remote shutter release setup. This will guarantee that the camera will be completely steady and the remote will make it easier to work the shutter.

By all means, try some of the IS cameras in the stores to see if they are acceptable but, the tripod solution should work for ANY camera.
