I am new to this whole thing (and the this site) and I was hoping someone out there could give me some advice about how to store my memory cards. I have seen a couple different holders (plastic, nylon, aluminum), but I don't want to waste my money on something lame...HELP what should I get. I have already ruined one card by putting it in my bag....
Thanks!

My memory cards come in a little plastic box which has always proved satisfactory all over the world. The moral is never throw the packaging away!

The safest place to keep your memory card is in the camera. Get a card large enough to take all the shots you are likely to need, or at least the largest you can afford. Then even if you need more, there will be fewer of them so less handling.

I bought a cheap holder today, but I can't help but wonder what all you REAL photographers put in all those pockets? All I can fill up is the MC pocket, but there is room for batteries, MS, CD's, everything but the kicthen sink. Is that necessary?
