Chrisda, I can certainly understand the versatility issue- especially if you have other devices that use sd media. I was only argueing on price, assuming you're buying the ~$400 F10, I don't see a $22 difference in media as a big deal. If you have had other Fuji cameras though, xd media in the F10 may be a positive- you'd already have the media. This issue is the same with the Sony cameras, where you're stuck with the memory stick, and some others (Cannon mainly) with CF media. I see this more as a personal preference because we would all take into consideration what types of media we already have and use when buying a new camera.

Fuji xD cards work in Olympus cameras OK. Also, they are not 'flimsy'. A UK magazine tested all the card types to destruction and the only thing that killed xD was a nail hammered through it!

This camera goes as high as the Rebel XT with ISO1600
