Silly question I know but I am looking at a 4 meg pix camera. And just wondered with all of the higher megs coming out if I should wait a few months.

If you wait, you won't be shooting in that time, so you'll miss a couple months of experience.

The right time to buy a camera is when a camera that has the features you want and need is being sold for a price that you're willing to pay. If the cameras are too expensive for you right now (and hey, I'm po' too) then waiting would be a good idea.

I guess why I asked I currently have a digital which I like but has some limitations. I also still have my 35 MM which I use when the currentdigital camera won't do well (zoom or low light and speed).

I just really want to make sure I get a camera at a good price that will fit my needs. I don't want to spend more than $400.
