hello guys. For hobby I ride motocross. Everytime I go out with friends we want to take pics but I want a cam of my own. I have one but it has a stupid delay when you hit the button. Is their one where I can hit the button and instantly (or less than one seocond hehe) take a photo? A video option would be nice too but not needed! I dont want to spend too much so plz help!

I would pick a brand, canon, panasonic, fuji, etc and start reading reviews. For something as fast moving as motocross you'll probably be happier with a camera that has an optical viewfinder. One with a burst mode capable of 3 or 4 (or more) frames per second would get you some interesting photos. You'll want one with spot focus and metering (or manual focus) to help insure you get what you are after.. Keep in mind that none of them are instant, some are faster than others, and you'll have to learn to anticipate the shot.. The most ideal digital would be a digital SLR but probably a bit out of your range.. If you want to spend the cash though,

and look at the Pentax *ist

Good luck,

Ok, thanks! I dont really care about any thing fancy I just want a quick shotlike a disposable camera! On mine now theres like a 4 or 5 second delay before the piture is taken! Could I lower that to like one second? I will do some research but thank you! This looks like an impressive camera to me./ Remember I dont want anything fancy, just something I can throw in my pack and GO! http://www.ritzcamera.com/webapp/wcs...=t1003%3Bc1009

Looks interesting.. The lens is quite slow on the telephoto end but I don't know what that'll translate to in terms of shooting speed.. It Can translate to dark photos though.. I suggest checking it out in some detail beginning here..

and here..

Also check the fuji forum for user comments.

Keep in mind that whatever you buy, you'll be purchasing additional memory.. 16Mb isn't going to cut it. This will naturally add to the end cost..
