I currently use a nice, compact Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P10 (5 mp) which is a great pocket camera. I would, however, like to upgrade to a more robust digital camera...not interested in an SLR, changing lenses etc. Really wanted more megapixels, great zoom, and a fast camera so I can take great sports pictures of my kids.

I was leaning towards the Sony DSC-F828 because I already have a gigabyte's worth of memory sticks and could keep my costs down a little bit there. I've seen the camera, and it feels pretty good. However, I've read rave reviews about the Minolta, both the A2 and A200. The anti-shake technology sounds very interesting. But some of the reviews said perhaps the Minoltas aren't as good for shooting sports...just a little bit too slow.

Things I like about the Minolta's specs are:

1) Anti-shake technology.
2) Flip out screen.
3) Smaller size than the Sony.

Thanks for your help/opinions.
