Hi guys,
im in the market for my 2nd digicam. Atm i have konica minolta X50.Im thinking to get another one which can change the lens into wide angle lens. But do i have to buy SLR to do so or normal digicam can do that as well?

which brand and model do you guys think i should get. I'll be using for landscapes, night shots, n cars photoshoots.

If you really mean "change" the lens, that is only possible in a DSLR.

Also, many digital cameras allow you to add a wide-angle lens by using an adapter.

If you want a camera with a fixed lens that starts at a wide angle, there are still many to choose from. Here are a few that come to mind:

Olympus C-7070, Olympus C-8080
Sony S70
Canon Powershot Pro1
Minolta Dimage A1, A2, A200
Nikon Coolpix 5400, 8400

While you are pondering what camera to get, I'd suggest that you spend a bit of time learning how to stitch photos. Even with the widest possible lens, there are situations where you want something wider. Stitching can often deal with that problem with landscapes.

And while you are learning that, cameras will improve and prices will come down.
