Thanks everybody.

I bought a S5100 from Sam's Club today for $311 plus tax. It included a travel kit consisting of case, 4 batteries and battery charger. The current $50 rebate from Fuji clearly states it does not apply to cameras purchased at Sam's Club (wonder why?).

I could have bought from Amazon for $299 and waited 2 weeks for free delivery (faster delivery was expensive), but I was impatient. Now I can play with the camera this weekend.

Thanks,

I had a lot of fun with the camera at the kid's swim team party. Got good shots of the kids in the pool that I would never have gotten with a 3X optical. The 10x optical also made candid shots a lot easier.

The S5100 fits the hand pretty well and is easy to use. I like using the EVF a lot better than the optical viewfinder on my Canon A70. I have always been more comfortable using an eyepiece than the LCD screen on back of the camera.
