Hi everyone,

Well, not only am I new to this forum, but I am new to digital cameras as well. I'm looking to invest in a camera and need your help. Here's my situation: I would like to start taking closeup pictures of reptiiles to start selling on the internet, so I need a camera that

1. Takes good closeups (I guess it's macro)

2. Lets the pictures look good on the web

3. As I get more interested in cameras, I can tweak features to more of my liking.

I'm willing to spend in the $300-$500 range, so any help would be appreciated.

The Olympus C-5500 is a great camera to consider. It has a great macro mode and it costs less than $200.
