I have the same camera and it works great, except for indoor flash use.Ive tried taking picture inside a lit school gymnasium for a basketball game, a ceremony, and most of my pictures come out dark. I set the camera on auto mode, and I know the cameras flash activates but its really disturbing that I cant get clean pictures. Im a novice with cameras and this is my first digital, never really had this problem with my 35mm camera, is there a simple solution to my problem?any suggestions?thx.

Ok, now that I know that you have the same Kodak 6330 camera I can answer the question you ask.

Plainly put, your problem is one that most cameras digital or 35mm have. POOR FLASHES. To light a poor lit gym most Professionals use VERY FAST 2.8F or lower glass lenses on the DSLR's, AND then sometimes add fill flash using very powerful expensive flash units.

Even my digital Rebel falls short without an external hotshoe flash unit attached in more lit rooms and gymnasiums.

It's just a sad fact... WE NEED MORE LIGHT.

Sorry, but even at a high ISO, I doubt your camera or even mine can do that well without better light.

jackmont,

Take a look at the Fuji F10. It sounds like exactly what you need.
