i've found this video camera
http://www.ecbuyph.com/digilife/ddv-s670.htm

it sez here
3.2 MegaPixels high quality 4T sensor captures up to 6.6 MegaPixels Resolution
does that mean it is 6.6 mega pixels or just makes it seem like that, neone tell me?

well, to start I nothing of this camera. But you get what you pay for. I bought a $400 JVC MiniDV camcorder (GRD270) and still was not all that impressed with the video, especially the low light. I like the video output of my canon SD300 digital camera almost as much, although you dont have the zoom and only 8 minutes of digital vid.

I know its out of your price range, but you would probably be just as satisfied with something like the casio z750 digital camera, which has a 7 mp camera and tv quality video in mpeg4, which would give you about 45 min of vid on a 1 gb SD card. and the pics are great.

You can find a review of the S670 here:

Not everyone's cup of tea, but the mp3 feature appealed to me. Consider it like a Palm Pilot - it won't match desktop computers for performance, but the size, price and versatility make it an attractive product for many. The S670 came out about 10 months ago, and there are much better hybrid cameras on the market now.

The Hybrid forum contains a rapidly growing wealth of information about these cameras.
