I've did research on these cameras and trying to decide but have it down to the following group.. Please look at my poll and vote so I can decide on what camera to get.. Sorry looking for some expertadvice..

This kind of poll isn't going to tell you much, I wouldn't think. Different devices are good for different requirements. Without providing a detailed speciifcation of what you need in a camera, the most you'll find out from this is what camera people have or are hoping to buy. You might as well ask a woodworker which is the best tool. Sart by defining the job, the technical sophistication of the user,and indicating how important money is. Then youmight get feedback that has some value.

Looking to spend $200-$300 bucks around

Mainly using it for 8 x 10 for kid pictures

Also small video clips with sound

More photo use

The Canon A-520 is the best of the group for your declared purposes. I will also give you an opportunity to learn more about digital cameras.

The Canon A-510/A-520 and the Nikon 4600 offer the best choices, with the Canons in the lead because they are fairly new cameras.
