Has anyone used one of these? Is there a problem with red-eye? Would you recommend it?

Thanks

Jim-

The Canon A-510/A-520 are regarded as the best entry level digital cameras on the market today by many folks. However, they do have a problem with red eye and low light focusing.

I'd recommend taking a look at the brandnew A610. Faster, less noise, sharp detailed pics, but: bigger cam.

Shutterbuggy-

The Canon A-620 is also worth a look. It is the old A-95 reincarnated and improved. It is bigger as you mentioned, but with a full 7mp it is quite a camera. But it will take more $$ too.

Thanks for the advice. I'm actually getting the camera free from credit card points, but I think I'll wait until they offer the A610 or 620.
