Hey everyone. I have been having a huge battle in my head lately. I currently own a DSC W1. Great video, OK pictures (they come out blurry a little too often even if im perfectly still.)

Here's what I'm looking for:

5MP or higher (i dont make prints bigger than 5x7 anyway)

Excellent video mode.

Excellent picture quality (mostly in auto. I'm not big on manual controls so don't worry about manual stuff. But for the auto, I need a camera that can handle almost any situation. Light areas, indoors, outdoors, snowy areas at night, night shots, landscapes, family, partying, concerts, etc without coming out blurry, distorted, or grainy)

Powerful built in flash (or as powerful as it can get)

Size does not matter really. NotHUGE but anywhere from mid-size to ultra compact will do.

I have been looking at the SD550 and the A620. If I'm on the right track let me know. If not, please give me your suggestion that best fits my needs.

Are you looking for a Photographer? or a cam? :P

Magic doesn´t exist my friend... sometimes blurry pics is not that u are moving, y because long time exposures,... (ie: nightscenes) even if u move just a little.. thats enough to blurry the pic.

AUTO functions are not always the best.

Hold on to ur W1, is a nice cam

well it doesnt help that my w1 fell about 5 stories down while i watched in sheer terror as it split into about 20 pieces. so im in the market for a new one.

From what i read on the DCRP site, the A620 can handle any situation u throw at it.

I'm just looking for whatever all-around best image quality there is, with a good movie and flash mode.

size, viewfinder, batteries, manual controls, 8x10 or higher prints, etc do NOT matter whatsoever.
