Hi

lppking for ultra that has a fast flash resycle, quick shuter speed and would like optical view finder for problem shots also want a lcd that auto gians for low lite. Looked at the Kodak v 550 , panasonixfx9, Nikon p3 and Olympus 600. any ideas or sugestions. i do own a or at least wha t I think is great digi kodak z750, but want a true pocket rocket.

You probably mean Kodak Z740 not Z750, because Kodak has not produced the Z750 yet. Take a look at the Casio Z-750, it might meet your requirements.

Ok so I have a big thumb. thanks for the heads up on the casio I really never think about them anything else you might suggest.

by the way not for nothing but a novice or even enthusiest might have a hard time reading evan the conclusions. they do tend to be some what technical when most people are just looking for basic differences and recomendations like flash recyle. indoor flash suitability I have found most cameras do a better than average job out doors the test seems to be in doors or low light. The stuff a novice will have a hard time with.

Jim-

The Casio Z-750 and Z-120 (which I own) have short flash ranges. This can be overcome by using the flash compensation or increasing the ISO setting to achieve a 10 to 12 foot range with ease.
