That Hong kong nightphoto with the fireworkswas taken with the Fuji F-10 that we had been discussing in that thread.

Thanks MT. Its a great shot. I have a Canon Powershot S1 Is and I'm not happy with the night shots I take, even with a small tripod. I say small, because I don't carry my large one all the time and just want some good photos of, for instance, the memorials in Washington D. C. when we visit there.

I used to have a Fuji and was very happy with it until the processor stopped working and I had to replace the camera. That's when I bought the Canon. I've already had to have it repaired. Canon replaced the barrel and it wasn't even a year old. Its under warranty. DebDay

I have had my Fuji F-10 for over a 15 months, and it has been a real performer.

Thanks again, MT. With this new camera, I bought a replacement plan and if this camera dies your recommendation and this site will definitely help.
