I am looking for a camera to take close uppictures of tropical fish in aquariums. I also what one that has 10 or 12 optial zoom. Is the Olympus SP 500 UZ or the Canon powershot S2 IS good choices?

Thanks

Provided the aquarium is well lighted, either the Canon S-2 or the Olympus SP-500 would do a very good job. The Canon S-2 has IS and that might make hand holding your shots a good deal easier. You would just have to be careful of reflections.

Thank you MTclimber. I think I will go with the Canon S2 IS.
