The S4 is a 4 Mpxl model, while the S6 is a 6 Mpxl model thus a newer, current version. The S4 will fit in an Altoids box, while the S6 is just a bit larger.

I am happy with the S4 because it is so handy to take along, but you have to remember its limitations, which is the compromise you make for the small size.

You have to decide for yourself which camera to buy by looking at the results users get and post on the forums, but I am not aware of a smaller quality camera than the Optio S6.

I believe that was your original question.

hi guys, thanks for the responses.

I was out this weekend, and one of my friends had Sony DSC T7. It was the slimmest camera i had seen and i know that the lens should be good (Carl Zeiss)

What do you all think about this camera? Pros cons? Any of you have this camera? Did Sony Discontinue it? It looks to serve my purpose, exteremely small, thin and light.

is the picture quality good? zoom? I still haven't decided!
