Im just looking to take pictures for fun when I go out, nothing professional, just point and shoot. Dont want to spend too much money, so I went down with those 2 choices. Which one should I get? The fuji is 4.1mp while the olympus is 5.3

hd-

Please excuse me, won't you, please? the A-400 is a Canon camera, and yes there is an Olympus Fe-110 and Fe-120, but not a Fe-115. Perhaps I am confused? If you get the model straightened out we can give you a lot of help.

Wow; MtClimber rarely gets it wrong, but she did this time. Both the Fuji A400 and the Olympus FE-115 were announced in January, 2006 and are now in stores.

For the shooting you describe, try out the FE-115. It's designed for beginners, and is very easy to use. But try to handle both cameras before you decide, and go with the one which feels best in your hands.

Steven-

You are my savior! Many thanks to you! I zipped over to the existing camera list, but being in a hurry, I did not check the "to be released" list. it is wonderful to have friends who are always willing to give you a hand.

Thanks again, Steven R.

It has been a bad night, I had one computer get spilled on and get fried, then I spent another hour getting my "spare" up and running.

Madevilz-

Most folks begin a new thread and give us some details on the kind of camera they are interested in, the kind of photos they want to take and their budget. With that information we can really make better reccommendations.
