I was really thriled to see the new specs of the new Sony α-100 and I was waiting for this camera to arrive. My first choice was the Konika-Minolta 5D cause is has the Anti-Shake and I was looking to buy an all-around lens with it, so it seems like a great combination. My question is for the pros out there:

How do you think it compares to the competitors (Nikon D50, Rebel XT) just by looking on the specs that was published by sony ?

Do you know where can I find samples from this camera online?

An alpha-7 is mentioned here take a look

This new camera seems to be an improved 5D with the Nikon D200 10Mpix sensor.

I would expect the IQ to be similar to the D200's. Check the numerous reviews for samples. The D200's linear resolution isn't much greater than Canon's 20D/30D.

Ibought a KM5D because of the ergonomics, the AS and the wireless flash capibility.

Just a rumour.

A site published that a while back. But, it was based on what some reader told them, not facts.

Sony owns approximately 11% of Tamron (Sony is the second largest shareholder)
