Hi

People

Ive been shooping around for a few weeks now i was going to go for an dslr d50 then decided may be a SLR is not for me and to go for an advance digital.....anyhow heres my story

Im walking the Cornish Coast uk 456miles of it and camping out all the way setting off next tuesday and im desperate to choose a camera ......

This is why im asking here.....

What im after...

over 5mp

wide angle & good close up

picture quality very very important

will be taking alot of far scene and sun set pics ect ect

the unit must be very robust built like a tank its walking 456 miles and camping dont forget

also batterys that dont cost an arm and a leg (cheap)

Any help i would be very greatfull for

I have around £250 to spend new or used and only 5 days to sort it

Kind Regards Simon

S7000 really doesn't have anything to tout in wide angle end... and Canon S2 even less.

For good wide angle I suggest looking for camera with 28mm wide angle.
Like KonicaMinolta A200, some shops might still have it in stock.
