I have a Fujifilm E550 now. Itssort offast in continous shooting mode, 3 frames/sec. for the first 4 and final 4 frames. Unfortunatley, my wife dropeed the E550 in the lake. I do action shots of my horses. I have to do several takes of 8 burst sets to get the shotI want. Do you know of a camera in a similar price range that has a faster continuous shooting mode?

Thanks, SteveB

Check out the Panasonic FZ30. It's a great camera for outside shooting and has 3fps for 9 frames and 2 fbs until card is full with an Ultra ll card continious shooting. Check out the Panasonic forun out. There is plenty of photos on it and you can ask any ouestion you like.

I will second that ...

I have a FZ 20 that is last years model and it is great for shooting action in burst.

I have now went to a DSLR Canon D20 and I love it but still like the convenience of the FZ.

The FZ7 might be a better deal for "in the same range".
