Hi,

I'm looking for a compact camera. It needs to be small enough to fit in my pocket, but i want to have some manual possibilities (shutter and aperture priority). Any ideas which one I should choose? I have been looking at Casio Exilim EX-Z850, but I am not sure about the image quality, it seems like it gets very different reviews in forums.

harney-

The Casio Z-1000 just got a good review from Steve. You might want to check out the review.

The Z1000 seems allright. Maybe I should go for that, but I am notsure about the picture quality for that camera either. What do you guys think about the FUjifilm F30 compared to Casio Z850 or Z1000?

harney-

In my personal opinion, the Fuji F-30 (in the P&S category) is an excellent camera, and very sharp indeed. I carry a F-30 in my camera case as a pocket camera/companion to my DSLR. IMHO the Fuji F-30 willprovide many more photo opportunities than the Casio Z-1000. Here is a sample F-30 photo, and this is a 100% crop.
