Adam-

There is an old adage in the camera world: you get the very best pictures from a camera you really like, not one you are fighting with all the time.

The choice is yours, and I just know that you will make the correct decision. Here is another D-50 photo.

Many thanks for your advice, I purchased a camera tonight, the image below is my first attempt with it. Just a random subject in rather low light. Can you guess which camera I settled on?

mtclimber, the EXIF says Adam bought the Canon 350 instead picture looks good though. I'd go for the nikon though when i've saved enough.
